Roberto Rossellini. Interdisciplinary seminars
From the 1st to the 22nd March, every Thursday from 16.00 to 19.30, a series of seminars to complement the exhibition will be held by its curators, in dialogue with eminent guests, both Italian and international, from the academic, scientific and artistic worlds.
Each theme, presented through a photographic show and explorative multimedia paths, will be the object of lessons supported either by audiovisual extracts from the works of Rossellini, or by programmes and documentaries.
This cycle of encounters is organised in collaboration with the Library of Rome: it additionally aims to promote the use of the numerous written and audiovisual texts that made up the ideal library in which Rossellini developed and within which he worked. During each seminar participants will be given a preview of the part of the innovative multi-encyclopaedic system which is relevant to the theme discussed that day. The system was planned by Rossellini, and developed by the Institute of Metaculture in a hypermedia form.
